This blog and about a million other posts, memes, and tik tok dances are going to be in the CORONA VIRUS/COVID-19 time capsule. This pandemic has so many of us shook, our worlds have turned out of nowhere and now many of you are adjusting to this new (temporary) norm: #WORKINGFROMHOME. As someone who has been working independently for almost 6 years now, here are some tips that have helped me to make my time working from home productive.
✅ SET A ROUTINE- Staying in our pjs all day sounds fun, but don’t lose that structure! Get ready for the day. Setting up those daily routines instills good habits. It makes us more efficient, builds momentum, and actually frees up our time to do as we please.
💧DRINK WATER- Water is good for the brain! It helps with your concentration and focus, adds more blood flow and oxygen to the brain, and relieves and manages stress better.
🚶GO FOR A WALK- “When your body moves, your brain grooves.” @jimkwik Go get some fresh air! Walking improves working memory and increases your creativity!
🙌 STRETCH- Take a break from sitting! Stretch your arms, legs, and neck to release tension and increase blood flow to your muscles.
🔗CONNECT- Extrovert or not, humans crave connection. During times like these, it is a blessing to have technology that allows us to have virtual hangouts!
I hope these were helpful. And if not, hope you enjoyed my play on typography. Have a good week, everyone! ❤️
