Adding envelope liners is a wonderful way to dress up your invitation suite. It’s the perfect piece that can add a pop of color or add texture. They can be customizable. A scenic background, your personal monogram, or a simple pattern will give your guests a sense of theme and tone of your wedding. They are not necessary to have, but they definitely add a layer of interest.
ASSEMBLING
You’ll have to stuff your invitations yourself if you receive your invitations a la carte. Many brides worry about messing up their liners, so if you’re one of them, here is a simple and most effective way of assembling them without any fuss.
TIPS
Address your envelopes before you add your envelope liners.
You can use double-sided tape or a glue stick to assemble your liners; however, I highly recommended using glue stick especially if your liners are made our of vellum. My favorite glue stick to use is the Elmers Disappearing Purple Glue Stick.
Add your adhesive as close to the edge as possible. I like to place a paper underneath my liner to keep things clean and in case any glue gets on my envelope.
Ask friends to help you assemble. It’ll help speed up the process!
